SINGAPORE: Dr. Kanwaljit Soin to give opening address at AAIF2010 on April 5

SINGAPORE / Aging Asia Investment Forum / March 19, 2010 Eminent Singaporean Dr Kanwaljit Soin will be guest of honour at the April 5 opening of Aging Asia Investment Forum, it was announced here today. She will deliver the inaugural address at the CEO-level event for Asia-Pacific’s top business, government and community leaders. Dr. Kanwaljit Soin served as the first female Nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore. She is also the Chair of WINGS (Women’s Initiative for Ageing Successfully) in Singapore, the Vice Chair of HelpAge International in London and a Board member of Washington University International Advisory Council for Asia. She is a past president of International Women’s Forum (IWF), Singapore Chapter and is currently a consultant orthopaedic and hand surgeon in private practice. The Aging Asia Investment Forum is a business event for decision makers to discuss opportunities in Asia's ageing market. Participants at AAIF2010 will also hear success stories from pioneers of the ageing market.
