SINGAPORE: Polytechnic opens new healthcare centre for senior citizens
. SINGAPORE / ChannelNewsAsia / Singapore News / April 8, 2010 By Dylan Loh Senior citizens can now tap on a new healthcare centre to stay active in their golden years. Singapore Polytechnic's Nutrition, Health and Wellness Centre has a nutrition laboratory, exercise facilities and a healthy food kitchen. Students from the school's Nutrition, Health and Wellness course will work with community clubs to advise the elderly on ageing issues. The centre was opened by Minister-in-Charge of Ageing Issues, Lim Boon Heng, on Thursday.
