Just in time for Mothers Day, 11 News found a great grandmother who's well known for warming hearts with her cooking.

Anna Hutton, 76, has twenty grand-kids and ten great grandchildren. However, twice a month, she prepares a feast for her senior friends.
The hot meal is served at the Fruita Senior Center (located in the new Community Center). It's enjoyed by around 75 elderly folks. Anna says neither her age nor her oxygen tank have taken a bite out of what she loves- putting care into her food.
"They say you can't trust a skinny cook, so I fit the bill really well. I just like to cook. It gives me something to look forward to, something to do," says Anna.
Anna's been preparing the meals for nearly a decade. She shops for all the food with donations from her senior guests, and of course, uses her own recipes. Anna's dinner is served on the first and third Thursday of each month at noon.
